Looking for something fun & meaningful to do with your child?
Join us on July 18th at the Hornbeam cafe (Walthamstow) for a Family Upcycling Pop-Up!
It’s your chance to transform some old clothes into new ones for Summer ☀️
Think fringe tshirt, upcycled shorts, bags, patches, drawing on clothes, hand sewing and sewing machines available!
Anything is possible! We’ll have three one-hour session from 2PM to 5PM so reserve your spot now!
As well as making something unique, you’ll be helping to give clothes a longer life and supporting the Hornbeam’s work around climate action, waste reduction, and building a more sustainable community.

National Emergency Briefing
In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing on Climate & Nature brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. That evidence is now on the public record.
The presentations have been distilled into a 50 minute film, released today and designed to show in communities. Here's a trailer:
