The Learning Lodge
Unleash your creative potential in this relaxed and friendly five-week afternoon course for adults with ceramicist Amanda Doidge.
You will work on your own project and create your own vessel which can either be functional or purely sculptural.
This is a taster course suitable for beginners or those with previous experience taking place from Friday 12 Oct to 16 November, see below. You can choose from an afternoon or an evening course.
You will learn all forms of handbuilding, such as working with slabs, coiling and pinching. Explore colour and texture, using textured surfaces, sprig moulds, coloured slips and glazes. Stuck for ideas? Don’t worry, you will also learn how to generate and develop ideas, so you can create work that is uniquely yours!
The classes are held at the Hornbeam’s Learning Lodge in Pimp Hall Nature Reserve, Kings Road, Chingford, E4 7H
Any questions please contact Amanda.
Note: There is no session on Oct 26 due to half term.
