Kids – Adults – anyone that’s not keen on Arms Fairs!
Come and make a mini wind turbine and decorate a fish for a massive wave.
For four days in September 2017, the international weapons industry will set up shop in the Excel Centre London at a huge arms fair, DSEI. The weapons sold here fuel the death, destruction and injustice caused by militaries, police forces and at borders around the world.
War starts here – let’s stop it here!
One of the days in the week of action to stop the set up is ‘Arms to Renewables Day – so we’ll be making mini wind turbines and fishes for a big wave, that will be part of a big show that we want positive engineering jobs, not jobs that lead to death.
Come make a turbine, find out more about the arms fair and – probably – eat cake. There will likely be cake.
There is also a Stop the Arms Fair workshop on 17th August
