Heard of the buzz around mindfulness but not quite sure what it is? This one-hour taster session will introduce you to what mindfulness is, what it isn’t and some of the benefits of practising it. You will have the opportunity to try out a practice, ask questions, and explore next steps.
Ruth Ormston from Calm City Mind will run this taster session which will take place in the cosy meeting room on the first floor in the Hornbeam cafe – Ruth runs a number of workplace and public mindfulness courses, and is passionate about introducing people to mindfulness as a resource to help manage well-being.
