E17 Junior Guitar Club and E17 Adults Guitar Club

Every Saturday, music can be heard coming from the first floor at the Hornbeam cafe, from where Chris Karlsson runs the E17 Guitar clubs.

There are clubs to suit all ages and levels, from 8-80.

The learning is in small groups and is designed for pupils to gain confidence in playing guitar, right from the beginning, and also to have some fun.

The guitar groups will also be performing at the Chingford Festival on Saturday 13th June.

Lessons are 30 minutes.  The first session is a trial drop in at £8 (£10 for adults), followed by half termly payments in advance.

See the website for more details www.e17guitar.com or call Chris on 07958 471 083 or email chris@e17guitar.com

Come and learn Swedish!!

Why not come and learn a new language and learn about Scandinavian culture at the same time. Or do you have a scandi partner or family member and want to be more confident when speaking to them?

There are both Beginners and Continuing Beginners Swedish classes at the Hornbeam. Chris Karlsson who takes the classes is Swedish and has lived in London for 12 years.  It is a fun and informal class, which will also teach you about the swedish way of life and you will get to sing some swedish songs 🙂  Fees are paid termly in advance.

Beginners course at 7pm, Continuing beginners at 8pm, Wednesdays, Hornbeam cafe.
