Community Mondays: one-off, drop-in opportunities 11am-2pm – we help maintain the space together, pick up some skills and often have some lunch too.
Apple-y prep, People’s Kitchen, jamming and new parenting group
The first Community Monday of every month is People’s Kitchen – delicious lunch made from food that would have been wasted.
If you’d like to volunteer to cook from 10am, please get in touch firstname.lastname@example.org
Pay-what-you-feel Lunch is at 1pm.
Mon 3 Oct – Apple Day preparation. We are looking for an Apple Day team of volunteers to help us on the Monday before Apple Day, which is on 8 Oct. Can you help us get ready for one of the most popular events in the Walthamstow calendar? We’ll provide lunch too!
Mon 3 Oct, 1.30-2.30pm – First meeting of Stay, play & protest – a new type of parenting group. It’s an informal drop-in for parents and their children with a twist – talking about things that make our lives difficult and how as a group we can make them better. Join the Stay, Play and Protest Facebook group for more details.
Every Monday – Make preserves from surplus ingredients with Organiclea‘s Jamming project. Arrive 10.30am to make vinegars, syrups, jams and chutneys and finish with a tasty volunteer lunch at 1pm.
Every Monday – Come and learn about other volunteering roles – apple day, People’s Kitchen and Best Before project
