Alongside the regular Organiclea stall, and the gorgeous Hornbeam Cafe brunch, Saturday 16th April will see a Food Fair like no other.
Family friendly activities and great produce will show us why local food production that communities control matters so much – across the world. Who makes the food that we eat? How is it grown and where is it sold? What difference does that make?
Get involved and discover more about some of the Waltham Forest producers who are creating sustainable alternatives to large-scale production and putting local people first.
The Organiclea stall will be joined by a much wider selection of Jams, preserves, pickles and vinegars, with a food surplus stall from the Forest Recycling Project, and special guests from Landworkers Alliance members from other parts of the UK will be selling their small-scale produced dairy and eggs. This is Rubbish will be doing an interactive workshop – come sign up at 11.
