Join us for FREE adventures and activities in Lloyd Park for under 5s and their parents/carers on the first Weds each month. We will start the day with a fun ramble around the park searching for items around our monthly theme. There will then be activities and story time until 12pm. Suntrap’s annual open day is suitable for all ages from 2-92 years! You can meet the animals, pond dip, peer down microscopes, have a go on the low ropes course, enjoy some craft activities, stroll through the forest on a guided walk, look at our exhibitions or enjoy some light refreshments. No booking required. Entry is free but there is a £3 charge for parking. Waltham Forest Cycling Campaign Monthly Ride • Sunday 25th • 10am – 3pm
We meet every fourth Sunday of the month at 10am at Walthamstow Library for a 10:15am start. We have a few routes lined up and usually decide distance and destination on the day according to what people prefer. We ride leisurely suited to the wishes of participants. Join in, feel good! The Green Gym in Chingford is a brand new project and is the perfect opportunity for people with an interest in conservation projects to be involved right from the start. We’ll have a balanced programme of activities to promote the local green spaces and wildlife as we’ll be working in both Ridgeway and Mansfield Parks – two venues that are abound with nature and many other features. Our tasks will include pond creation hedgerow planting, and wild flower planting among others, to improve the biodiversity of the area. These events are free and spaces are limited.
