Saturday 10 November 6.30-10.30pm
3 courses for £14
As the autumn evenings draw in we are very pleased to be providing produce from Organiclea’s Hawkwood growing site to the Hornbeam Café, for ‘Fork to Fork’ – a new seasonal supper club which kicks off on Saturday 10 November, bringing the freshest and tastiest of produce from the garden to the table.
It’s deliciously simple, healthy, food – locally sown, grown, picked and cooked! Some hints from the chefs so far mean we can expect dishes made with squash, beetroot, curly kale, chillies and salad from Hawkwood Nursery, as well as apples from Organiclea’s forest orchard, and there will definitely be some edible flowers in the mix too! Expect warming soups, super salads, hearty main courses and delicious desserts! You can’t get this food anywhere else… All three courses for £14.
The excellent Hornbeam cooks are joined by Tricia Bullen from the Bonnington Café as special guest chef for this autumn celebration. As well as Organiclea’s produce, the Hornbeam kitchen is stocked from small scale organic farmers in East Anglia, from Suma Wholefoods cooperative, and the beer comes from local brewer Pitfields.
The supper club is open from 6.30-10.30pm so you can choose your time to book a table (latest booking 9pm). The café is small so do please book in advance – email café@hornbeam.org.uk with your name, how many people, and what time. The café can cater for all special dietary requirements, intolerances and allergies – just let them know when you book.
