The Hornbeam Centre is available for hire to local people, groups, and campaigns at very reasonable rates.

There are two spaces for hire (see below for photos)

  • our ground floor cafe with servery at the rear comfortably seating up to 30 people (22 if they all want to sit at a table) and
  • a smaller room on the first floor seating a maximum of 12 people.

Both spaces have tables and chairs that can be arranged as required. Users of the ground floor can make use of the kitchen facilities for tea, coffee, etc. Upstairs users have access to a kettle and basic supplies. We ask for modest donations for refreshments.

The ground floor area has wheelchair access and an accessible WC.

Other facilities available include wireless internet access, projector screen (no projector), flip-chart, TV and DVD player.

Because our café operates from 11am – 4pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & 10.30am – 5pm Saturdays, meetings or events can only be booked downstairs in the evenings on those days (one hour minimum period), but can be booked downstairs during the working day or evenings on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.

The upstairs room is available 9am – 10pm. It’s also a great place to meet privately over lunch Weds – Sat, with tasty veggie catering and a wide range of refreshments available from downstairs!
